Evening with the Author at Nuriootpa Library Join us for an evening with local author Andy Thurlow as we celebrate the recent launch of his new novel 'Painting Martha', the story of an adoptee and her search for her biological family.

And hear about his other books – ‘Kieran Modra: The Way I See It’ and ‘A Singular and Outrageous Blessing: The Story of Rolph and Margaret Mayer’ - how they came to be. Hear firsthand how Andy's ideas evolved from initial inspiration to fully formed stories, as well as the personal experiences that have shaped his writing.

The evening will feature a mix of engaging discussions, insightful readings (by Marley) from his latest work, and a Q&A session where the audience can interact directly with Andy. Whether you’re a longtime reader or new to his books, this event promises to be a delightful exploration of the art of storytelling. Light supper with tea/coffee provided.
