Bishop Paul Smith Prayer

In a message to the church, Bishop Paul encourages us to pause and reflect on the decisions made at the October 21st Regular Convention of General Synod, particularly regarding the resolution on ordination:

'I commend to you this time following our Convention as a time to pause: to pray and to listen; to listen to each other and to listen to the voice of our Good Shepherd.' Bishop Paul also emphasises the importance of finding 'liminal spaces' in our lives as Christians.

These spaces, he explains, are like doorsteps that enable us to move through things required for the next place.

Attached is the Bishop's prayer which includes two prayers for the church.

HELP SPREAD THE GOSPEL IN TAIWAN

Everyone is welcome to attend the service or presentation or both. We’d love to see a great crowd to hear of his mission work in Taiwan with China Lutheran Seminary.
