We’re bringing back our Yiros stall to feed all those hungry cruisers! We need enthusiastic helpers from 4:00pm - 8:30 pm approx., for a few tasks:
- Chopping fresh ingredients in the kitchen
- Sizzling up tasty yiros meat on the BBQ
- Serving hungry guests with a smile
Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Nich Kitchen contacted us on the 9th of January. He said that after much thought and prayer, he has decided to decline our call to the Southern Barossa, and to accept the call to Lifeway Church in Sydney. Nick felt he was being led to use his skills in the multi-ethnic mission at Lifeway. Nick stressed that declining our call is not a rejection of our vision and actions. He asked us to be patient as he believes we are heading in the right direction.
Pastor Nich will continue to keep us in his prayers. We ask that you include Nich and his family in your payers as they make the move to lifeway Church in Sydney.
At the Call Meeting in December, the decision was made to extend a call to Ben Hentschke in the event that Nich declined our call. We are contacting Bishop Andrew Brook/Stephen Schutlz to confirm extending a call to Ben Hentschke. – We understand Ben has a call to Golden Grove, and he is on leave till end of January, and will have 4 weeks from then to consider and respond to the calls.
Please contact a member of the Call Committee if you have any queries - SBLC Call Committee: Michael Heinrich, Wendy Liebelt, Nevin Nitschke, Dean Hoklas, Katrina Neldner & Phil Hiscock
