Lutheran Archives is looking for volunteers to undertake the meaningful tasks of photo digitisation and data entry/indexing.
These opportunities will enable those who want to learn about archival processes and at the same time learn about the history of the Lutheran Church in Australia and New Zealand to join our wonderful volunteering community.

Friends of Lutheran Archives, North Adelaide SA
Friends of Lutheran Archives (FoLA) meets nine times per year to tell the stories of God at work in our Lutheran Church. We are looking for a small team of people – to work in pairs – who could operate the live streaming equipment on a voluntary and rotation basis.
Meetings are held on Thursday evenings at Immanuel Lutheran Church, North Adelaide, for the months of February to October.
Full training will be provided.
Please contact Helen Schubert on 0447 740 711 or email FOLA@lca.org.au.

LCANZ Bishop Paul Smith has recorded a number of short videos on questions about ordination.
These resources are based on short papers Bishop Paul prepared for the church in the lead-up to last year's Regular Convention of General Synod.

The first Mission Moments of 2025. Sunday 2nd March, 3pm, in the Meeting Room.
In the ‘School of the Apostles’, Pastor Richard will host David and Jessie Boydell who have an incredible story of God’s faithfulness over 80 years.
David and Jessie’s early missionary service was in the Congo, serving there from 1971 to 1976. David then taught French in England from 1976 to 1983. From 1983 to 2020, David & Jessie taught some 1,500 aspiring missionaries from various denominations (Baptist to Lutheran) in Paris preparing for life in French speaking lands.
Before migrating to Sydney in 2024, they served in New Caledonia and Turkiye between 2012 and 2024.
Hear, and see, their exotic story at the ‘school of the apostles’ on Pastor Richard will also present some Bible teaching from the life of Jonah. All welcome.
