GRACE is the basis for the Christian Faith – God’s Riches At Christ’s Expense. We believe that we are saved by faith through grace. As St. Paul writes to the Ephesians (and Martin Luther re-discovered in the 1500s): “But God’s mercy is so abundant, and his love for us is so great, that while we were spiritually dead in our disobedience he brought us to life with Christ. It is by God’s grace that you have been saved.” (Ephesians 2:4-5 GNT) We usually define God’s grace as ‘undeserved favour’ – grace cannot be earned or bought or attained by our actions. It is purely and simply a free gift that God gave us through the sacrificial suffering and death of His beloved Son on the cross. But it doesn’t end with our Saviour on the cross; He rose again from death and ascended to glory also bringing that same glory and joy of the assurance of heaven to us. We can be assured of God’s grace and also the relationship He built with us through it. The Lenten season begins with Ash Wednesday and goes right through to Easter Sunday – there are 40 days and 7 Sundays (culminating on Easter Sunday). The Bible readings take you through different readings that speak of the undeserved love God has for each of us. We are led through Jesus’ life and ultimately to the cross where we can then celebrate His resurrection and God’s ultimate gift. God’s love reaches all people through His GRACE
For young people on 16 March 2024 and 1 June 2024. 16 March workshop registrations open soon. To be held in North Adelaide from 9 am - 4.30 pm. Our camping ministry is reaching more young people who are new to the Lutheran Church and there's a rise in junior leader inquiries. Blueprint is now looking to expand on equipping our young people for leadership in a culture of diverse faith backgrounds and ministry areas. We will engage inspiring speakers to lead workshops on topics including gospel fluency and understanding your leadership style. If you or someone you know may be interested in attending, head to blueprintministries.org.au for more information or send us an email.
