Finding Emma - Renowned author Valerie Volk returns to the setting of one of her previous books "In Search of Anna".
Set in the German farming community of Jindera, NSW, to present the story of Emma an old domineering cold, and difficult to love woman who sets out to rediscover her old self and to reclaim her future through the journals she has kept for sixty years.
Sunday 11th August 3 pm, in the St Petri Meeting Room, Nuriootpa: School of the Apostles.
Session #1 “Paul's personal experience of God - from legalism to liberty”. Led by veteran Pastor Richard Ansoul.
For four Sunday afternoons, you are invited to join a modern 'School of the Apostles' as we delve into Paul's adventures.
We plan to gather on the second Sunday of each month.
Barossa Ark is delighted to sponsor a four-part series of seminars on the life, and work, of the apostle Paul. These seminars will be led by veteran Pastor Richard Ansoul. For a generation, Richard and his wife Ruth, have led outreach projects to several unreached people groups in the world, particularly Islamic folk.
Their work has been informed by the pioneer spirit of the Rabbi from Tarsus (in present-day Turkey). Richard has also taught the life of Paul to mission students in Ukraine and assembled teams to put into practice the revolutionary ideas of Rabbi Saul. This has taken them to challenging fields in West Asia and Central Asia.
Pastor Richard has produced an excellent resource “I am Turkish by Salih Tarsuslu” that he will reference throughout this teaching journey. A limited number of ‘early-bird copies’ are available in Barossa Ark at $20. A further order for these books will be placed according to interest.
